Jérôme Minière

Jérôme Minière est un chanteur et artiste multidisciplinaire originaire d’Orléans (Fr), qui vit à Montréal depuis 20 ans. Il a fait paraître une douzaine d’albums dont Une Île (2015), Jérôme Minière danse avec Herri Kopter (2013, Félix album électro), Le vrai le faux (2010, Prix Rapsat-Lelièvre), Cœurs (2007), Jérôme Minière Chez Herri Kopter (2004), Petit Cosmonaute (2002, Félix auteur-compositeur), Jérôme Minière présente Herri Kopter (2001, Félix album électro), et La nuit éclaire le jour qui suit (1998), un des premiers albums francophones à allier musique électro et chanson.

À titre de compositeur, auteur, réalisateur ou remixeur, il a travaillé avec de nombreux artistes dont Pierre Lapointe, Martin Léon , Michel Faubert, JP Ferland, Jim Corcoran, Dumas, Françoiz Breut, Lhasa de Sela, Frannie Holder, Bïa w… Curieux de nature, il a aussi collaboré avec des artistes en arts visuels, cinéma, danse, théâtre, performance, pub et littérature. Depuis 2009, à titre de concepteur sonore, compositeur et parfois même d’interprète, il a travaillé sur sept projets avec Denis Marleau et le théâtre UBU. Il développe en plus ses clips vidéo et des projets hybrides avec l’artiste visuelle MP Normand et le vidéaste Dan Popa. Par ailleurs, il a publié son premier roman L’enfance de l’art  ( 2014,Quai no5/XYZ), qui a reçu un très bel accueil.

Marie-Pierre Normand

Illustrator and visual arts practitioner, Marie-Pierre Normand was born in Montreal. She studied arts and scenography, which undoubtedly contributes to satisfy his desire to play with objects and spaces. Inspired by the imagination of childhood, art brut, gardening and ephemeral architecture, she published The Watermelon at Planet rebellious and collaborated with disks Tribe. Over the years, she designed the visuals for album covers, posters and stage of songwriter Jerome Minière.

« I collect little things of everyday life, in my studio, by dint of the sort, cut them out, and glue them to scribble, I make images, poetic spaces, ideas to share! »
