First introduced to kora in 1986, Nathalie keeps perfecting the mastering of her instrument by going regularly to Africa to meet with great masters, with the help of Canada Council for the Arts and Quebec Conseil des Arts et des Lettres.

During several years, playing with the Guinea-Bissau singer Lilison and the group Takadja, she specialized in traditional West-African music

Since 2005, she plays her own compositions under the name of Nathalie Cora, and contributes to a ecclectic discography: Raoul Duguay, Diane Dufresne, the Cirque du Soleil, Sébastien Lacombe, Claire Pelletier, Paul Horn and many others.

Member of Alpha Thiam’s group (www.alphathiam.ca), Nathalie is now musician, actress and puppet-master in the play Baobab by the Motus theater company (www.theatremotus.com).
