Martin Tétreault

Turn-table player, improviser, sound and visual artist, Martin Tétreault creates sound performances with turn-tables he builds or adapts to his needs. He participated in numerous festivals and sound art performances, in the province of Quebec and abroad. He is involved in many music, danse and poetry projects. He released many albums with artists from Quebec and abroad.

Since 2005, he is the leader of the Quatuor de tourne-disques. The album Points, lignes avec haut-parleurs was released in 2011 under Oral label. As a visual artist, he presented the Phonographes vinylisés installation at the Manif d’art 6 in Quebec in 2012.
